If you used the Plazmic theme creator, do an export of your theme. Then you can loaded with the desktop manager.

Switch themes and see if the option comes back? if it does i would consider removing the theme and not use it. There are several smile themes in this thread which one was it?

alx is for desktop loading, while .jad is for Over The Air. Remember that you have to also load the plazmic theme reader file along with it for it to work and of course you need to be running OS 4.1

Y'all really are unbelievable with the work that's being done. I am very appreciative. I just have one request though. Is it possible for someone to do a University of North Carolina theme for 7100? Thanks again for all the work that's been done and y'all continue to do.

which theme will not load?
Did you also load the theme_reader.alx file?
Does you phone use os4.1 or higher?
Ahh never mind i went back a few pages and see the theme you are loading is for the 7100 and you have a different model phone. Delete that theme it will not work.
My error i assumed you wanted it for the 7100.

For those of you asking for your own theme, I would highly reccommend just using the theme builder and giving it a go yourself. I'm far from a photoshop expert but I was able to make one fairly easily. I started by downloading the .thm file from mrogers' excellent highway theme and customising from there. I added the Windows Vista/Longhorn grass wallpaper, changed the messanges icon to an Outlook one, the browser icon to a firefox one, the phone icon to a Motorola Razr one, etc... This is what it currently looks like for me on my 7520:

Finally overcame my fear and downloaded the Plazmic Theme Builder. What a gas! A couple of really remedial questiosn fro the Theme-building gurus that post here:
1. Im working strictly with 72XX series currently, as I have a 7290. Did not see where in the Theme Builder I can go to change the color of the buttons or the message highlight bar. I am likely overlooking something obvious here, would love some direction.
2. Is there an online repository of icons that I can (legally) access to use in the Theme Builder?
you are all an inspiration!

Ok, got most of my previous questions figured out ( when in doubt, read directions 8)). However I still cannot figure out how to change the color of the highlight bar in the messages and address book screens. Any thoughts?

Under The Controls (where you change Dialogs, Buttons and such) it's the List Cursor Color block.
Hope this helps.

No the themes for the 7100 will NOT work on your 8700. The good news is there are several other themes in this thread made for the 8700. Another option would be to have someone make an 8700 theme like one of the 7100's posted that's no hard to do.
hope this helps?

Does the Noia stuff count? I can zip up the icons I used for the ones I poseted if you like. I have them in PNG format with both states in each image so I turn visibilit on/off for the state I'm importing at that time.
I could also send you the theme source for the 7200 Noia theme I built http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...postcount=1168

I think that someone that has all these icons should start a thread dedicated strictly to icons so that people can download what they want and need.

Would love access to the Noia icons, DesertDog-thanks for sharing! Agree with KonTiki, icons could merit a seperate thread. I have no idea how to start a new thread, can our talented and personable Mods assist with this?
