Your using an image that is too large for the theme. Reduce the file size down using an image editor.

Is there a way you can make this theme but with a smaller text size in the messages screen? The screen/keyboard settings, but I believe with the plazmic themes you can't change the size except when you are creating the theme.

Yesterday i posted a mac theme which i made but didn't like so i contacted MegaBit and he has shared with me some of his finer details in HIS original mac theme for the 7100. The banner is MegaBits, the call screen is MegaBits with changes by me. I addded a colored apple (blue) and the text (think apple). The icons are all mine however MegaBit inspired the look. The focus icon is clear with a solid black up focus arrow highlighted like the focus icon.
I changed the indicator colors and time/date colors. The sub-menu is a solid color now.
So in the end i hope this theme is taken as a combination of two made to look it's best.
I would like to thank MegaBit for what he has allowed me to accomplish for all those who may end up using the theme.

I just found this article that I think explains it... although I am not brave enough to do all this yet.

Follow the following instructions to download and install the Zen Blackberry theme.
1. You will need to download and install OS 4.1.0.284. The best place would be to check if that version is available to download from your own carrier. If not, download the OS from Rogers here …
2. Install the program but do not yet launch the Desktop Manager.
3. Open up Blackberry.alx in the new folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8700-v4.1.0.284_P2.0.0.120
4. Search for the word ‘zen’ in Blackberry.alx. Then you should see the following line:
_vendorID="107|123|201|170|114|171|134|169|202">
5. You will need to put your device Vendor ID of your device on that line, to find out your Vendor ID just hit Alt+Cap+H. After editing the file, just save and close.

Just an idea here, can someone make a retro theme for the 8700 that would have the icon set of the 7290, or 7250? I just think that would be kind of cool to have the look of the older blackberry but the performance of the new one. Thanks in advance if you can.  |

I think this is for the 8700. There is no .284 firmware for the 7250, or any other model for that matter, even on the site that you posted. |
