All of these themes were working great but now when I try any of them I get the JVM error and have to wipe/reinstall. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Which java error?
Depending on which device you have they can only take so many themes. If you have 15 or more installed try and reduce that number down.

Nice theme by the way Calix. Link worked fine for me too.

The JVM 523 Error. I have an 8700c. That could definitely be the problem. I have quite a few on there. I'll take a look at that.

Sounds like Chris is having the same problem I'm having with my 7100i. I only get the error when I use themes that have 100% transparent icons. And I don't get it with all transparent thems. Right now I'm using NYC Remembered that I know you did not make and am having no problems at all.

There have been a few ppl who experience the same problem. Transparent icons cause them problems but the icons that have had the opacity reduced down to any % don't. I'm not sure why this happens yet so for the moment i recommend not using those themes and using those with reduced icons. I can't reproduce the problem on my phone so i'm stuck with no answers for that. I've switched out icons over and over with different levels of opacity and still no errors. I'm gonna call foul on the builder software for the moment unless there is something in the vender os that causes it. I'm using Nextel and have had no problems but the few others i have talked to were using verizon.
At the moment i can't offer any solutions only discussing about the error.

so what would be the directories that i could put.the most popular

How many theme websites are we going to have going? We have this one, silentone has them posted on his and srl has a site with all his on it.

I'm using Cingular. I'm also using one of your Family Guy themes right now srl without any problems. Pretty sure that the icons are transparent. The weirdest thing is that I can't even use ones that I've used before without any problems. I used the Pink FLoyd Dark Side of the Moon theme for quite some time but now when I use it I get the same error. Not sure what's up. Odd question...how many files should be in the theme?

Once I load my themes on to my 7100g I can see them in the aplications but they dont show up when I try to switch themes.

Try loading the plazmic_theme_reader.alx file and b sure u have os 4.1 or higher

srl7741, your themes are amazing. They are very vibrant. I was hoping I could ask for a small favor on a theme or two. If the font could be changed to something like clarity, it would be easier on older eyes.

71xx Golf theme

Note: A few ppl have posted about a java error they received (in prior posts) when using themes with transpearant icons. I have tried to find the cause since (mpersh) first reported the problem (months ago). Thanks to mpersh and his help in testing a few changes in my themes i think i may have found the reason and fixed the problem with the error (sparing the long explanation). So this theme has the new fix in place. Even tho golf may not be you bag of bones (mine included) it may b worth installing this theme to see if the error still occures? If it does not then you will be safe to install any theme i post b/c they will be all made the same unless additional posts are made reporting the same issues. Thx goes to mpersh and mrkyoo for helping in narrowing down certain errors.

i have been trying to load the ford 5 and ford 6 on my 7130 and for some reason those are the only 2 ones i cannot use on my bberry... maybe i have gone totally dumb but it just wont recognize those...
