Thanks srl7741 - I got the ones you had on your site. They look great. A couple of requests though....can you make one of your steelers themes for the 7200 series. Also, do you think you could make a Penn State theme based around Penn State Football? Let me know.

I have downloaded themes on my bb 7105t but some of them come with icons on them already then when you set them as your background the other icons on the home page over rides them how can i use the icons that come with the themes that i have down loaded from the forums. Or if anyone know where i can find some other icons so that i can change the ones i have that came with the phone.

Hi,
I am neewbie in BB , I want to know how can I change the starting up banner, I have seen there for other companies, like vodafone and others.
I would like to set my own logo when starting up,and powering down.
Please can somebody help me?
I have already plazmic and composer, but really dont know how to change it.

Having some issues when trying to download and extract the themes from the app loader on the desktop mgr. I downloaded Telstra and am trying to put new themes on.
For example....I downloaded the Vegas theme for the 8700c and then extracted the files into a folder (I titled it blackberry themes). I then connected my bb to desktop mgr then clicked app loader. I clicked add and then went to my bb themes folder where the Vegas theme is and it shows 2 options, com_plazmic_theme_reader.alx and SLvegas1.alx. I clicked the 1st one which i believe went through cuz my bb restarted (I guess that means it went through, but then again, I went into my themes and nothin was there). I then clicked on the SL one to add and download and it give me a "no additional applications designed for your device were found" error. So basically I got nowhere.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure its something simple and I'm just an idiot at trying to figure it out.
Also, is the bb supposed to re-start everytime you download a new theme?

Your on the right track, install the themename.alx file and the theme_reader.alx file at the same time.
After you have loaded the plazmic_theme_reader.alx file you no longer need to in the future with added themes.
The desktop manage issue is common. Restart your computer and re-open the desktop manager and go thru the same steps as you have before it should be fine.

On the Vegas theme, is it possible to have a Vegas sportsbook picture come up on an incoming call? Lol Sounds weird probaly....If its too much, its cool, no worries.
Also, could you do a St. Louis theme (one with like the Arch in the background) and a LA/Hollywood theme (with the Hollywood sign or something like that)?

Besides my 8700C I also have a 7100G, and noticed that one of the OS upgrades that I got from BB Forums installed a t-mobile theme. I kind of like it, but cannot find it for the 8700. I searched this thread and did not find it, so is it available? Or can it be? Thanks in advance
