WORKS ON 7130/8703's TOO!

I have a TON of mp3 ringtones for Blackberry's that I would love to share! (over 3000) And am willing to cut any requests that anyone has, all I need is someone that can put them on their website to be accessible by a Blackberry Handheld. I know that I have had no problems downloading a couple ringers from "www.freeblackberrywallpapers.com" it was easy and simple. I do, however, havea dificult time with .adp ringers, so i figured i would just stick to what works for me. All ringtones would be cut to 250kb or less...just need a place to put em and a few requests

proaud, your website looks awesome! I would love to combine forces with you and provide our crackberry freinds with some good tunes! I prefer using MP3 tones, simply because I cant get .adp to work on my 7130e. but if you want to convert you can (as long as you let me get the ones i want in mp3format and I will take request all day long!!! Maybe we can make some folders on your website and organize it into mp3/.adp/theme/etc. don't have to get to fancy, but that way people aren't looking at a scooby-doo ringtone next to tu-pac

I am working with 3 different participants right now who have volunteered(sp) a spot on their website where you can download ringtones, these individuals will be updating this board as soon as they have completed putting some of these tones up.

All requests can be sent to , and I will strive(with cooperation of the gracious host to have it available in 48hrs or so.

I am new, so please bear with me. I sent a couple of my old ringtone to the site. However, I cannot seem to download. Can someone give me a step by step.

yes, if you have a request, just email it to me to the address in the thread, or at the bottom of this post(near my signature)...in a couple days, there will be website addresses in this thread where you will be able to go to download your request.

celltester....AWESOME site...I've sent a few buddys to the site already and have become addicted scrolling through new tunes. ALL of the early ones loaded on the 8700c without a problem, now; however, many of the new ones load, then don't play any sound. Doesn't appear to be size, thought maybe rate was different or something.

Any chance you can get the UNLEASHED dodge charger theme song up there? I'm a Charger junkie as well as bb junky too :grin:

is there a reason why on my 8700c i download the file but when it comes up there is nothing downloaded

how are you downloading it? is it every & any file, or just a select few? Please let me know so i can fix/address the issue and you can enjoy some tones

you need to simplify the site so that when its accessed with a BB it is easy to navigate.
no wallpapers or images.

Celltester- Great news you will fix them. I noticed the same...plays on the site fine....when on BB it doesn't play at all. Pretty much all of the RAP mp3's work however the other groups categorys do not.

I'll send you which ones do not work.

I just downloaded several rock/pop MP3 tones from your site and they don't play anything, just kinda of "beep".

thanks for the heads up, we are looking into that now. Seems that the rock section has some issues that we will work out, anything you notice outside the ordinary that can help us iron it out would be helpful. Like which ones? There are over 1000 in there and people have told us that some of the rock ones don't work, only ones we know of for sure are AC/DC tones. Let me know, thanks!

The one's I had issues with, were as follows:

AC/DC - Thunderstruck, Chevelle - Send the Pain Below, System of A Down - Aerial, Casting Crowns - Lifesong, MercyMe - Word of God Speak, Switchfoot - Meant to Live (Intro)

Sorry three of these are in the Christian section.

will do! If you click on the "request" link on the website and just type in your request, it will get done. If you upload the soundfile you want, it gets done much quicker

Thanks for making my new BB fun (stumbled on your site today)! I'm new to the BB world (but supported them at work) and now I can't wait to point others to it! I haven't perused it yet but do you have a spot for uploads? Just curious -- I wanted to convert a radio recording to a ringtone...

8700c for some reason this site will load it but it wont play more than a beep, all the other sites work fine.

the only one i could get to work were like a few fight songs but still some like the michigan state do not work.

I know they work on that type of device. 2 things to try....

1) try clearing the cache on the blackberry browser. we update the site on a daily basis. if you are viewing a cached page the links wont work correctly.

2) if 1 doesnt fix the problem, try taking the battery out of the device and holding the power button down for 30 secs. then put the battery back in. By doing this it re-sets the power managemnet for the device.

checked the links randomly and the rock page specifically, all links appear to be working fine, refer to Proauds reply above for instructions on how to adjust your browser.

i tried all those things and actually PIN messages Jim last night and did even more things he suggested but the rock area still isn't working for me. I can't get kelly clarkson, journey, blink 182, or acceptance to work (those are just the ones I've tried). Most all the Rap ones work

I have checked those links from my 7130,and had a buddy with 8700c check thoseartists and worked fine, i honestly don't know what to tell ya man, maybe Proaud will have some more input on this...

where are they located...I cant seem to find them.
