Red face Theme Background - 07-18-2006, 12:50 PM

Please don't yell at me... Yesterday I was wondering around this forum looking for information on building themes. I stmubled across a thread that had the information that I was looking for, I thought I saved it but I didn't.... Sooooo my questions are... 1) When building a themes (i'm using plasmic theme builder) what size the background pic have to be? 2) what could be the possible problem if everything but the background pic transfers over to my blackberry?
Like I said I did a search yesterday and fond the answers to my questions... I can't remember what search terms I used to find it though. I've been trying all afternoon and I can't find it again. Plus I looked for it again yesterday evening....

Thank you!! I love BB Forums.com!!

I should have specified I have an 8700g... is 240 x 260 a standard size? Also I found the thread that I read yesterday and it said something about a max size of 60kb... can this be explained please? does that 60KB include the icons as well or is that different?

The 8700g has a screen size of 320 x 240. As far as 60kb size, I have only had issues with that with either the Home Screen image or the incoming call image ( I forgot the file name for that one).

I've tried a couple of themes for my 8700g and will post pics of them shortly.

In your profile it says you’re using a 7105T

87xx = 320 x 240

Try changing your images to .png files instead of .jpeg.
