Lightbulb Changing Battery and Network Indicators while building a theme with PTB - 08-16-2006, 05:44 PM

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I just got my new BB 7130c (and love it), and downloaded PTB to start creating new themes after reading a few threads on this forum.
I started playing around a little bit, but realized that I had to choose a template to start creating the theme, based on the model I was building for. The only issues I have with that, is that I'm not a fan of the wheels they use for the battery and network status indicators (nor do I like the wings very much either).
So the question is: can I create my own status indicator, and if so how? Can I change the status indicators that appear on the templates?

Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

Theme Builder doesn't allow you to change the battery or signal strength meters.

OK ... thanks ... Do you know (or anyone else) of any other methods to build themes ... I was used to the Wave-icon them on my 8700 and was wondering how to build one similar for the 7130.

There exist other ways to build themes, but you need to work for Research in Motion in order to be able to do them.
