I am getting sick of this blackberry and it is only 3 hours old!!!
I am trying to install the themes to my new pearl but it just wont work!!
Everytime I try to install the themes (I unzip the zipped file and then transfer it to a folder on my desktop. I have inside the folder the unzipped theme folder containing plazmic reader alx and the theme alx...I have about 7 of these folders....I open app loader and followed the directions....add the theme alx and after about adding 4 theme alx's I get the stupid error"NO additional apps designed for your device found" and on top of all that when I finsh the installation my pearl resets!!!it takes about 3 mins for it to reboot.
I need detailed instructions on how to install, not just the ones posted on mobile41 site....The first try I went into themes and found them all there but it said no preview available as well as the fact that they did not load
What the heck am I doing wrong???

Your trying to install themes on your Pearl?

There are no additional themes for the pearl other than the default one or the recent released ones that i believe can only be downloaded from mobile.blackberry.com using the ota method.

So i'm gonna make a guess and say you may be trying to install a theme that is not for your device or that was created with Plazmic and Plazmic will not work on the Pearl.

Again, trying to help based on what your wrote and so it's a guess?

The short answer: Plazmic Theme Builder doesn't currently support the Pearl.

It's hard to figure out exactly what you tried.

If you tried to install themes created with Theme Builder, they were probably either:
- rejected at install time OR
- allowed to be loaded on the device, but won't show up in the theme list
