I understand that I cannot edit a theme but can't I save my preferences either? My background image, font and many other things seem to go back to defaults when I switch to another theme and come back.

I want to give another theme a try but I am afraid I will loose all the settings again. Any way to save preferences?

not at the moment. Everytime I switch themes I always have to change things in the screen/keyboard options. it takes less than a minute out of my day so i just deal with it.
