last night i was at a friends house just chilin and i was messing around with browser and a call came in after i hung up with caller my phone said where it normally says t-mobile it said SIM CARD REJECTED so my buddy told me to turn it off then turn it on and it worked (he used to work for cingular), wonder what that was all about,any ideas anyone thanks for yor help?

The phone may have failed communication with your carriers services. If it keeps happening, youll probably have to replace the sim card.

Its happend to me with every phone i've had at one point or anther. Its nothing serious. If it happends again just do the same thing again.

Mine did that a couple of days ago. Opened up the back, took the battery out and discovered that the Door/Cradle on the sim card had come open. Closed the cradle and all is well....

It was driving me crazy while turned the phone on and off.

it's doing it to me now... was working just fine here at home 2 hours ago. Pulled the battery and it still says SIM Card Rejected. Switched it into a regular 3G Samsung Sync and it tells me SIM not provisioned... what could have happened
