Default ZEN Home Screen Icon Text - 10-23-2006, 10:59 AM

I recently wiped and rebuilt my 8700g.
With my previous ZEN configuration I had removed the text indicator from the home screen icons to make it cleaner looking. I am referring to the text that displays next to the 5 icons when you scroll over them, (Messages, SMS and MMS Messages, Call Log, etc.).
Since reloading and configuring the ZEN theme, I can't remember how I removed the text... I thought it was an option setting in one of the menus but I'm striking out and I have exhausted the search.
Can anyone help out?
Thanks!

Brian

Click on the SMS or Message icon, click the scroll wheel, then click options, and finally click general options. There should be an option such as display message count if I am not mistaken.

My guess: The problem is that in the old OS .284 version of Zen, you could turn the text off. Newer versions removed that feature. What app version of the OS are you using?

The old version of Zen you did it by using Options > Home Screen. The new way is... er.. I don't know.

I was afraid it was due to the fact that I was not on.284 anymore.
I am currently on OS .309

Yes that's it. First versions of Zen you could not have text but option was taken away in later OS builds. Also on some builds the option to turn data off in Network has been there and then gone.
