Smile How to Edit previous themes - 10-31-2006, 02:03 PM

I'm new to the BB theme making world.

How do I open up an .alx or .cod in the Plazmic Theme builder to edit them?
I would think the program would be able to open them. But it doesnt.

That's correct, you can't edit the theme with those files. The .thm file is the one and only file that can be used to edit a theme.

3rd party icons can not be changes either.

Sorry just one of the limitations of the theme builder software.

If the .thm file contains all of the data for a given theme, and the .cod/.alx contains all of the requisite data from the original .thm, there HAS to be a way to extract the .thm file from the .alx/.cod

I'm certainly not claiming to know how to do it, but it has to be possible
