Default What programes created the Zen and Pixelistic themes. - 11-02-2006, 06:12 AM

I’ve just been getting into Theme Builder and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the pixelistic theme was created with? I some how ran the T-Mobile 7100t theme on the 7290 I have and was quite happy the way it only showed one row of icons at a time. The pixelistic theme has 2 rows but Theme Builder only lets you create themes with the default 3 rows of icons. Is there a way to create a theme with one row of icons for the 7290?

How was the Zen theme created? What program was used and would it be possible to use it to create a Zen theme or some thing like it for the 7290?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Kordo.

Default Rows of icons - 11-02-2006, 07:45 AM

With the theme builder program you will not be able to duplicate the pixelistic theme. That theme was made with additional software (API's).

As for the 7100 series theme on the 7200 series? Your the first but it also looks as tho you saw some of the effects from that and I think you are the only one who did not mind.

The icon(s) in reference to only one or two rows? If you want a theme with only two rows on your 7200 series device this is all you have to do. At the bottom of the main screen is text (Enterprise Activation) is shown in the theme builder software default window. Enlarge that font or even change the font and enlarge it in size. Try 11 or 12 to start with. The font being enlarged will force off the main screen at least one row of icons and the larger you go the more rows it will force off the screen till you get to only one row of icons. The rows you are left with will be centered on the screen (top & bottom).

Zen is another topic, no way to make that theme with the theme builder and i don't know what was used to make it. (sorrry)

Below is a screen shot of the font being changed and enlarged to where there is only two rows of icons on a 7100 series theme.

Is there any screen shots of what the Pixelistic theme looks like? I can't find it anywhere. Also, is it available for the 8703e? I looked at mobile.blackberry.com and the theme was not listed for download.

Thanks!

Thanks srl7741,

I'll try increasing the text at the bottom. So if I create a theme in the 7100 option could I then load it on a 7290? The only issue I found with the T-Mobile theme was the calculator did not look correct. A part from that all the other icons worked well. The T theme also had an applications icon that took you into a different list of icons which is not available in the 7100.

Dewars as for the pixelistic theme I like the layout and battery and signal icons etc but the theme itself is a bit to dark for my liking.

I can't recommend putting a 7100 series theme on a 7200 series phone. If you want to try be prepared for the unknown or a device crash.
In the event you do try the experiment please stop back by and post the results (pics, etc).

I would just increase the fonts on a 7200 series theme and see how it works on the 7200 series phone.
