Is there a size limit on what MP3 you can store in the phones memory?

I have a short 30 sec MP3 clip that I've used on other phones before...but its not allowing me to transfer it over to the phone via Desktop Manager.

if you are talking about mp3 songs, then I dont think theres a limit(actually limited to your memory). I had a 2 hour track song on my pearl. if you are talking about mp3s as ringtones, that im not sure of.

Also, Why use the desktop manager to load mp3s? Why not just click and drag into removable disk?
