Default Zen Theme for 8703e - 01-06-2007, 08:37 PM

I have the 8703e for Verizon and I've been reading up on the Zen theme. However I cannot figure out where I can download and install it. I see the Sticky at the top, but I'm a little confused from it.

To get the Zen theme, I cannot just download alx files to install?

Still trying to figger out what's so great about Zen...

Verizon 7250 > 8703 > 9530 (returned) > 8703 > 9630 #1 > 9630 #2 > 9630 #3 > 9630 #4 < perfect so far!

Anything to some of the comments that the zen theme makes the 8703e sluggish as far as opening apps, changing profiles, etc.? It may be due to the processor but I'm curious to know before I download this.

I use the Dimension Today theme and there is a slight GUI delay. But after 3 months I've become accustomed to it. Not a big deal, really. Having upcoming calendar events on the home screen totaly outweighs the delay.

Here are a few more comments on Zen/Today themes slowing down the processor. It hasn't been enough to pull me away from using Zen.

it's the right time to crash, is it not?

Thanks guys. I downloaded the zen theme and really like this set up. Although there is a slight lag, it's not really noticeable in most cases and to be honest, the zen theme should be included on BBs as the default. Just my opinion of course.

I prefer the Zen theme for my 8703e. It un-clutters my screen. There is a slight lag but not enough to not use Zen.

The zen theme is great and like brucejr says it really keeps the interface uncluttered. Plus, I can see the wallpaper!

True that. What's the use of a wallpaper if it is obscured by icons.
