Default Dimension Today on 8700c: Can't map Address Book to side convenience key - 01-06-2007, 10:44 PM

I could've sworn that I saw this same question asked earler - but a half-hour of searching turned up nothing.

I'm using the Dimension Today on my 8700c. I'd really like to map my Address Book to the left convenience key - but that application does not show up in the list of available applications in the "screen/keyboard" options.

Is this a bug or an "undocumented feature?"

I believe there have been several threads posted about how the Address Book can not be mapped properly in some themes. Don't think there is anything that you can do about it.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Failing that, are there any 3rd-party address books that come recommended?
