Default Adding Music - 01-14-2007, 03:28 PM

Does anyone know where I can find step-by-step instructions for adding music to my Pearl? I'm trying to use the Media Manager, but the only two folders that show up under Device Memory are "pictures" and "ringtones". My music and video folders aren't showing. What am I doing wrong?

Didn't work. I transferred the file into my music folder in Windows Explorer, but it won't show up in my phone.

in efforts to have music and pictures on the pearl, do you have to have a media card? I have been trying to load pics and music to my pearl using the desktop manager but nothing works. I dragged and dropped, I click the arrows, I've emailed to myself and nothing. someone please advise. please.

many thanks

After you transfer the music, disconnect the BB from the PC.
The music should now appear in the Media option.

I disconnected and reconnected my blackberry to my computer and changed the auto feature to no. Now my media card is showing up on both my phone and in media manager and all of the folders are showing up in media manager. The song I transferred is also showing up in media manager but not in my phone. Do you think that it's a problem it's a problem if it's a .wma file?
