Post Night Vision Theme? - 01-16-2007, 08:01 AM

I'll bet other night pilots and Police Officers would love and pay good money for a night theme that preserves night vision. It would be all fonts in black background and red foreground.. Maybe even a green would be used if not to crazy bright. I have a BB 7250 in case someone would like to take the challenge.. Just looking to be able to read and send email, or SMS or IM, by keeping it limited to those mentioned colors?

With that being said it wouldnt be that hard if they just gave users the option to change text color like font size. You wouldnt even have to load a new theme on it, just set it for "night mode"

HEAR THAT RIM?? HINT HINT.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Ya know a charcoal grey background muted red forground and deep. Blue gray lettering. Maybe i am wishing too much. There is a theme that is called over lord that comes close though

I know I am resurrecting a necropost, but this need is still there. Overlord was ::OK:: but still had white menus as well as phone screen. Now that I have 4.2.194 I no longer have even that. Any ideas on a NV theme would be welcome.

I have a Night-Ops theme on my website for the 8100. I am in the process of trying to do themes for the 8700 as well.

Check out www.themes4bb.com, scroll to Night Ops (green and Neon Pink) let me know if that is what you are looking for.
