I am having a world or problems trying to get new ring tones onto my 7100i. I have updated the new software and os system to 4.1.0.376 (platform 2.1.0.46). When I go to any one of the ringtone pages that is mentioned on this site, the phone tells me that it is unable to open the ringtone.

I'm sure that I am doing something wrong. I just don't know what. Can some one email me detailed instructions on what to do so that I can get some interesting ring tones!

I have 7100i running 4.1.0.376. and you can play wav files.

There are certain guidelines you have to conform to with the wav file. it must be PCM 11kHz, 8 Bit, Mono and the total file size cannot be larger than 450kb.

Made mine with the windows sound recorder and I think I uploaded mine with a wallpaper uploader from blackberry cool.

Works for me.
