Walmart Supercenter had a deal on PNY 2GB Micro SD card for $17.99 a while back. I bought one for the hell of it. I generally don't use my BlackBerry to play video or MP3s.

After reading these posts, I wonder how the brick and mortars stay in business. I was in Circuit City the other day and they had an 8gb for $99. That is twice what one can get one for online.

EDIT: just went to amazon.com and there are several deals for around this cost... so still a good deal, just not exclusive to meritline, lol!

I bought my Sandisk 8gb microSDHC chip on Ebay for $36 shipped a few weeks ago. The Buy It Now price was $31 if I remember correctly. It was in the blister pack complete with the USB adapter. I had it in my mailbox 3 days after sending Paypal.

I don't know how the storefronts can survive with online pricing and service like that.

Default 8 Gb!! - 08-24-2008, 12:57 PM

If you are looking for something locally, I found a pretty sweet deal on 8gb microSD (only place in Vancouver that I could find with them) at FrontierPC. They service Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax and Montreal with local warehouses.

They have the Kingstons for $68 and Sandisks for $71.

Hope this helps someone out there!

Has anyone purchased this product? I can't tell if it comes with the adapter or not. It doesn't say that it does, and there are mixed responses in the customer reviews....

It is now at $22.36 + 6.98 S&H, but is only a class 2. Amazon also has a Transcend 8GB microSDHC class 4 for $25.70 +6.98 S&H. Does brand matter with the 8330? My LG CU500 would only take Sandisk.

I did purchase this item from Amazon.com (seller was NEXTWEB SALES)

There is an adaptor that the micro SD slides into, making it a full size SD. A USB adaptor is not included.
