Default Plazmic is not really useful for me - 03-29-2007, 11:11 AM

So I was trying the Plazmic theme builder and what not but I can't really create a "Custom" theme. Yeah I can change the colors, the icons and the window borders but what about positioning? I can only pick from two base themes. Zen and the other one. Now that just makes it that either A I have the sub-menu ont he left and a main menu, or B it just loads the menu as the home screen. What about something else? What if I want a home screem with the menu along the bottom? Is it even possible to do this? I really don't like either of these themes and just changing the look doesn't cut it for me. Does anyone have any tips on what else I could do?

Thanks

You know, I am expecting it to be complicated, I never said I am hoping it to be as simple as using plazmic Also, I already know some java, its pretty basic because I've forgotten after not using Java for 2-3 years but its nothing I wouldn't be able to pick up with a few days. All I was hoping for was maybe a point in the right direction or something similar because well, searching only leaves me at sites that are trying to sell themes, not really anything useful at all, but from your reply I guess I'm not going to be finding much help here either.

So why did you reply? I mean, you gave no useful insight, you did not develop this post whatsoever, in fact, it seems like it was an attempt to stab at my stupidity for assuming that I could find a reply that was a tad bit HELPFUL.

Anyways, thanks for being so friendly.

That's pretty handy advice. When millions of BB users around the world power on their phones, they're using Java. Most of them don't even know it.

Thanks for the tip.

a) Plazmic is a company not a product
b) Java knowledge doesn't make a lick of difference when using theme builder
