Talking I want the AT&T theme! - 04-01-2007, 03:43 PM

Ok so i have the .alx file to have the AT&T theme on my phone, but do I need to have .73 (Red Pearl) OS to use it? Or can I have .71 (Cin Black Pearl) OS and can acess the AT&T theme? or Has someone found a way to extract the theme to use on any other OS?

I think you can use the black OS on the red Pearl. The hardware inside is the same, just diffrent color plastic on the outside.

Unlocked 8100c w/ 1 gb microSD, BSE total body skin, and rubberized case or silicone skin.

My girlfriend fried her browser connection yesterday installing a new program. Not sure what happened. But anyway, I had to reload the os to make her internet work again. I did and it worked. She has the red AT&T pearl, I have the slate Cingular pearl. But I wanted the AT&T theme so I hooked mine up and reloaded her os on mine and it worked fine. Here is a pic of a Cingular BB with AT&T theme. I have only had it for like 12 hours so I can't guarentee there will be no problems but I've tried everything and it all works.

You need to have a more updated OS/Alx for this theme to show up. Try the red Pearl OS, or even the TIM release of 4.2.1.

Is there a way to just install this theme without an OS upgrade? OS upgrade would toast my BES config, and EA is a pain since our IT dept doesn't give out an EA password.

They request that we only install their "silent-install" OS configs for our devices.

Any way a current user could extract the theme and I could install it?

Thanks.
