Smile Thank goodness for this site!! Ringtones!! - 04-10-2007, 02:20 AM

Hi all - well here we go I found an awesome site where you can create any ringtones out of MP3s and then download it from a WAP site.

Can we say perfect???

Go to this site: Free web ringtone maker :: cellsea.com

Enjoy my BB friends!

How come when I make the ringtone and try to open up the wap.cellsea.com on my browser, I can't load it?

EDIT ~ Fixed. Had to use the Media browser.

Where do the songs go after you download them to your phone? o_0

Since I couldn't figure out how to get this site to work, "http://www.phonezoo.com/" works if anyone wants to make their own ringtones.

My phone won't let me go to that web address...any solutions? I went to the other site mentioned above but it only allows 20 seconds of the song, so I wanted to use the site originally posted.... any help is greatly appreciated

*edit: I figured it out how to get to the site.... but once it downloads I cannot find it...

you need to go to the sight via the tzones (if you are with tmobile) internet browser or the media browser and enter the website in.

How come people can't tell me where the songs go..... I get a "successful download' but no ringtones in the correct places, or anywhere for that matter.

It looks more like a ringtone conversion service than an actual ringtone maker? Check out Media Convert - free and on line - convert and split sound, ringtones, images, docs - MP3 WMV 3GP AMR FLV SWF AMV MOV WMA AVI MPG MP4 DivX MPEG4 iPOD PSP OGG WMA AAC MP4 MPC MMF QCP KAR MIDI REALAUDIO FLAC JPG PSD DOC PDF RTF TXT ODG ODP ODS ODT SXW to actually produce your own tunes for free. I've done a tutorial on my ringtone website on how to get started. All in all though, it's always nice to have more tools available to us for free. I believe that this Web 2.0 approach will be the way forward for ringtone production!!

Hi

What kind of error? Best to contact their support to see if they can sort you out. Be sure to give your phone make and model to them to speed up the support query.

Regards

You should email their support and see whether they can help you out. Page cannot be displayed either means your connection is cutting out or that there's a linking problem on their website that now points to a page that doesn't exist anymore...

I just use Programs like Sony Acid Pro, to cut the Part i like which is exactly what this site does. ALso, since the speaker is covered, i raise the .DB rather then having it at 0 which makes it louder!

You can also use Normalisation to get the tone to a good volume level without clipping...
