The 8703e doesn't have an expansion slot.

That FAQ is right on the money, follow the instructions as listed in the first section "For all models".

Thanks..But i tried that way also. My phone doesnt have the icon of the globe for the web..? what do i do from here?

So, then I am assuming you don't have a BlackBerry Data Plan purchased from your carrier. Without a BB Data Plan you won't have internet, email, data, etc. You have a nice phone with SMS ability.
And you won't be getting additional ringtones on your BB.

My phone came in today, and purchased it when I activated it today. Is there a grace period? Ill call customer service but yes I purchased the 39.99 data plan.

Then first pull your battery and reboot the BB, your browser could be there after reboot. If not, go to Options, Advanced, Host Routing Table, and click to Register Now. You should get a message in your message folder to confirm the registration. Pull the battery and reboot all over again to see if the browser appears.

Good luck. Sometimes carriers can take up to 48 hours for the registration to take place after purchase, but it is routinely within a few hours.
