I may be missing something but I cannot listen to radio or XM on my 8830 as I was able to do on my Treo 700p. I am new to BB and would appreciate any help.

Wirelessly posted (8703e Sprint: BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

Someone would have to develop an application, and I am not sure if it is even possible.

XM and Sirius use an IE browser plug in to stream your subscription. The apps for the Treo (p and wx) emulate this using a media player.

If it is possible, it will only be a matter of time before someone figures it out for the new BB media player.

With ATT, you can download an XM application... It's in the Media Net Browser... I did a search for it. Not sure if it works for all, but there is a fee for it, and you only get 25 preloaded channels, which is ok for me since I only listen to about a handful of them.

I know it's not much help, but at least you now know that there is something out there for BBs.
