I just got a pearl. I had a LG CU500. I pulled the 1GB microsd from the LG, put it in the Pearl.

The problem:
The Pearl doesn't see any of the current data on the microsd. It contains two mp3s and multiple pictures.

The other problem:
When i try to send a picture via bluetooth from the previous phone and i try to save it on the Pearl it tells me "filename contains invalid characters."

The funny part:
When I go to select a location to save the picture being sent from the LG, I can see all the other media on the microsd.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to get the directory structure right on the MicroSD in order for the pearl to behave like you expect. You can do this manually, or just copy everything from the card and format it using the pearl. It'll set up the directories for you.
