Default 8800/8300 OTA Leopard Theme (OS X 10.5) - 07-29-2007, 09:51 PM

Although Plazmic has some issues... I enjoy it somewhat.. I've made this Leopard Theme... here's a few things about it...
  • The Date, Carrier and Data Network are not displayed on this theme.
  • Not all icons were completed, this is a version one
  • The menu was forced at 50 pixels rather than the 25 that the menu bar actually is. The theme has display issues otherwise. If this is fixed in Plazmic later I will adjust the theme accordingly.
  • I organized items into folders the way I like them. If you do not like them I'm sorry.

Theme: Catte5

Today Screen

Applications Screen

Download for 8800/8830:

The Today Theme is now available
Quick Note: The Today Screen contains the camera icon for 8300 users

Sorry my naming conventions aren't the most consistent.

Wow, the last two themes you have posted are the best looking themese I have ever seen.

I love the fonts, is there any way I apply them to the rest of my applications? (txt, email, incoming calls, etc)

There are many places Plazmic can't alter the text for (i.e. incoming calls) I try to keep the fonts as consistent as possible but I'm too limited. If someone how could tell me how to edit .cod files without damaging them or creating themes from scratch I'd gladly take that route. Plazmic is cool and all but it's way too limited to really get creative.

Neither are possible with publicly available tools. Theme Builder - Plazmic is the company, not the product - is the only option for making themes.

The theme will have to be built specifically for the 8700, in which case the zen icons will appear on the right not the left.
Unless the author makes the theme, there is no way to port it to an 8700.

I plan on it. I have a few things before that. I'm going to release a "Today" theme for it first on the 8800/8300.. Then I'll do the 8100.

side note: I'm going to try and release it for the 8700 but that's only because I don't believe I have to do any editing for that.

would the 8700 OTA download work on a CDMA 8703e that only has 4.1 and not 4.2?
