Default How long can I expect battery to last only using bb for music

Please Login to Remove!

I have just recently begun using my 8830 as a music player. I do some traveling and would like to start listen to my bb on the plane, as opposed to carrying my ipod around.

Question: If I have the radio signal turned off, and am using the bb just to listen to music, how long can I listen for if I start with a full battery charge? (obviously I can experiment, but I would like to know what to expect for the first time I try this)

Thanks

Well there is other factors. Shall I assume you are going to have the backlight shut off after 10 seconds?

I was able to get four hour use and my battery was around 35%.

I've used my my BB to watch a full length movie, & listen to music all day long with radio on & it had around 25% left.

Thank you both for your quick replies. Looks like I'll be able to leave my ipod behind!
