Can someone post a direct link to either the desktop or OTA download?
When you click on the link it pops up another window that you can download the file from, it's not a direct link to the file. It sounds like the pop up blocker is blocking this from showing...might just add the site to the pop up blocker as a ok site to allow pop ups

I'm working on it guys I know everyone's eager for the Zen version, the Curve versions, etc...I just want to get the glitches ironed out, for everyone's benefit, so that everything works as well as possible from the get-go. And it's been a very busy week, but I'll post them as soon as I can. I've almost got all the icons I need for all the different versions, so I just need to adjust the banner a little bit and fix the menu bugs. Definitely look for some releases this weekend!

EDIT: Also, I rewrote the javascript for the downloader on my web site, if you were having trouble getting the selector window to come up before give it a shot now. If you have a super-restrictive popup blocker you may need to tell it to allow my site. Don't worry, I don't serve any popup ads.

Hi- can you or anyone else explain the difference 'tween an icon theme and Zen theme? I see it mentioned all over the boards here, but have no idea what they are. Thanks.

UPDATE ON DOWNLOAD ISSUES

Since so many people seem to be having trouble with the file chooser being located in a popup window, I have create a regular page for it on the site. No more popups. Try it now.

No, no one may host the file somewhere else without getting permission from me. This theme is not allowed to be redistributed. Try the download now, it should be pretty straightforward without the popups.

NEW VERSION RELEASED

Version 1.1 (8100 only):
- Tweaks to Icon version (revised header, new buttons, larger clock)
- Fixed Google Maps menu bug
- New menu color (light gray instead of dark)
- ZEN style

I'm not totally happy with the Zen version yet, it needs some work I think. I hate how I had to make the icons so small so they wouldn't crowd each other on the home screen. I'm open to opinions suggestions for improvement.

I'll be working on Curve and 8800 versions as soon as I can.

Yes, the Icon version has been updated and the Zen version has been added. I fixed the Google Maps bug and a couple other issues. If there are still problems just let me know.

I did find one thing, on the Zen theme the icon for the alarm is way close to the time. Sometime it covers part of the 1 if it's like 10-12

Hey, no need to shout. Did you actually reboot the phone or just turn it off? Selecting the "power off" button won't do it. You need to pull the battery.

Thanks, I'll fix that for the next update.

I've also noticed that in the browser, as you type the highlighted text is black against an almost-black highlight color, making it impossible to read. I don't know why this problem is isolated to the browser and not other typing dialogs. I'm not yet sure what I need to change to fix it.

The Curve themes are next on my list, along with some bug fixes for the existing Pearl themes. The banner is going to have to be slightly reorganized again...having the carrier name under the signal/network type just doesn't work, since that area is used for the "Low Battery" message. It's going to have to go back up top and center. Also, I'm still looking for a way to fix the black-on-black typing dialog problem in the browser.

I'll get them out as soon as I can, I promise! It's been a crazy couple of weeks at work, and I run a business on the side too so there's not a lot of free time. But I'll do my best! Thanks to several of you who have donated; I have spent hours upon hours on this theme, especially on all the custom icons and battery/signal indicators. It's very nice to get a little something back...but the theme will always be free (I mention that because I just read the now-locked thread about that "GlassBerry" theme and how he pulled it after not getting enough donations...I'd join the community in saying that's pretty ridiculous behavior, especially considering he re-used a lot of elements from the stock themes. Just my $0.02)

I was going to donate some to you, and even after that comment I'll donate some more...it's always a nice thing to see people ask but not expect. So far your theme has turned me to the icon side of themes instead of using the Zen theme all the time. I use the icon more and more now instead of the Zen, I like the Zen too but something about the bigger icons and not having to click the menu button to get to the rest of the programs just makes it easier

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Thanks again for the great themes!

I did notice one thing. After pressing the symbol key in a text entry field there is a noticeable delay before the symbol menu appears.

Perhaps this is just me?
