I can't wait for the 8300 version! My Curve feels so naked with the AT&T theme.

The only thing is that this doesn't seem to happen with any other theme.

I'll clean up a bit and are what happens.

Thanks.

Version 1.2 released. Lots of additional refinement, plus an 8300 Icon version. See the first post or my site for more info.

^ Please let me know how the Curve theme looks, as I have no Curve to test it on other than the simulators. The simulators don't always render everything 100% the same as the actual device.

First of all, what a fantastic theme! I'm very impressed.

But (and I suspect this has been resolved) I wonder why there needs to be a "More" button with icons not being movable into the main list? Is this to maintain the front screen as a "clean" list of iPhone style icons?

What's different about the icons for the Curve? Other than I had to make them 3 or 4 px smaller...do they not look right?

Unfortunately I can't control whether or not items are movable to the main screen. I think I may have found out how to get rid of that folder though, or at least set the default for third-party apps to be the root. I'll have that in the next update.

Thanks.
I've trimmed it down some, but still have about 4 months worth of messages on my BB. I like to keep it around there but am still have problems with the delay after pressing the SYM key. The delay is nearly 2 seconds. Is it still due to the messages?

This happens in messages, browser, IM, anything. I really, really like the icon theme, but this is a killer for me.

Is anybody else at all noticing this?

Thanks again for the great theme. It is the best custom theme I've seen so far. I hope I can clear up this delay!

I'd like to say my device is swimming in bphone happiness, but that will have to wait for the Curve Today or Today Plus version. No pressure, just a small reminder.

Someone reported that they successfully installed the Curve version on their 8830 without a problem. Can someone confirm this? Is the Curve theme packaging the same as the 8830?

I absolutely love the theme! Wow, it looks incredible, you really have a talent for this. Thanks for all your hard work and time...

I'm new to the Blackberry world, and even newer to adding themes, etc.., but I had a question... When I was using the default zen theme and I would lock my keypad the background of the screen would be the wallpaper I was currently using in the theme. When I applied your theme and lock the keypad, the background of the screen turns to a different wallpaper. Is there a way to change this in some setting? I'd like to have the background be the same when it's normal and when it's locked. Sorry if this is a dumb question...

Thanks again!

I don't think that's possible, the theme editor requires me to specify an image for the lock screen. We don't always get all the options on custom themes that the default themes have.

Good job. My only comment is I chose my Pearl over the iPhone and actually prefer the Today Plus theme instead with my own picture

Ok, thanks for the info. It still looks really good, I was just curious if that was an option on my end that I was missing... Thanks again!

The Pearl Today theme is hot!

I'll ask one more time if anybody is noticing a significant delay after pressing the SYM key in a text entry field or is it just me and all of my messages. I don't think that I've got a ton on my BB.

And I'll say once again thanks for the excellent themes.

It looks great, but is there a way to allow a user to change the font in the message and other applications? Usually if you apply a theme and then go into screen/keyboard, you can change the fonts. I'd like it to be bbcasual and 7 point, b/c you can see more of an email header at once, but if I change it, and save it, nothing actually ever changes in the applications.

I've tried the newest version of the Today theme, and I even tried setting the font and then resetting. No luck. It says the font is changed, but it doesn't actually change.

EDIT: It actually does change when I open an email, but my inbox page doesn't change.

These old eyes need a bolder font. I can't get the font to change anywhere other than in an email.

Yes I will. Two people (that I know of) already tried to force-install the 8300 version on their 8700 and bricked it, so don't do that

If you've rebooted the phone and still aren't seeing it, try checking if you have the latest OS for your device and upgrade if you don't. It's starting to seem like some versions of OS 4.2.1.x are allowing the theme, and some aren't.
