Default Desktop Manager Install - 09-26-2007, 07:28 PM

im trying to install Desktop manager as it came from my disk. when i do, i get an error

Error 1720
There is a problem with this windows installer
package.A script required for this install could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action RIM_InstallOptionalITAdminFiles script error -214024770, Line 8, Column 1.

Anyone know what this is and how to fix?

Make sure you have the most up to date version, 4.2, Service Pack 2.

If not, download and install it.

What OS are you installing it on?

4.2.2 is what im trying to install, ive tried all of the tricks i can find from blackberry and here but so far no luck
