Hi All,

I'm a new BB user and I'm able to transfer via USB Cable MP3 files to my BB Pearl device. It is always say that the file exceeds the maximum limit file size. However, my MP3 file is a normal MP3 file (i.e. around 3-4 Meg). I'm using Blackberry Desktop Manager Version 4.2.0.14 to do the transfer. Is there any setting that I have to do in order to transfer MP3 file?

Welcome to BBF.

Do you have a microSD media card installed? If not then the max file size for onboard device memory is 2.86 Mb.

I don't recommend putting much on the device memory as memory is already at a premium on the Pearl.

I do have Micro SD card inserted in my phone, however, I still not able to transfer big file. Do I need to activate the Micro SD card? If yes, How?
