I was trying to do a friend a favor and got mixed up with this freak. He has the nerve to 'issue a refund' that PayPal can't seem to recover because there is NO MONEY in the account. Thief and a liar. Stay FAR away.

Sorry you had this problem... very unfortunate.

Buyers Beware, don't do business with anyone on THIS site or ANY site with ONE post.
Always ask for eBay or other reference if they have low posting here.

Boy, that really bites. Sorry you went thru all that.

And didn't eBay just change their policy so that you are not able to leave bad feedback for a seller? Or is that no more bad feedback for a buyer?

Starts in May:

ABC News: Not Sold! eBay Boycott Kills Traffic

As part of this article:
"As of May, sellers will no longer be able to leave negative feedback comments for buyers. "

Terita - Did you pay via credit card? If so, have your credit card company dispute this for you.

I have not heard of any such eBay policy change. Here is the text from their policy:

Feedback

Obviously, feedback would be worthless if either party were precluded from leaving a negative.

TeritaM - in my experience buying and selling on both eBay and Craigslist, I have found that most people are pretty honest. However, there are a decent number of dishonest people that really make me think twice before buying anything on either site. Although hindsight is always 20/20, the seller in this case had only 1 post on BBF, and had zero feedback on eBay. Call me a pessimist, but I would never have bought from this guy. I realize that anybody new to eBay is going to start with zero feedback, and most of those new people are going to be honest. I just don't want to be the one to test that out.

I hope PayPal is able to get some of your cash back for you. Good luck!

We posted at the same time (above), so I guess the info that I linked to is soon to be outdated.

This is absolutely unbelievable!! I guess feedback will soon be worthless as against buyers.

i never do business with anyone on eBay with fewer than 2 dozen positive reviews to every 1 negative. that seller has 0 feedback, and now i am guessing will cancel that ID (with the negative feedback) and create another.

yeah juuwack, I called my credit card company and they are disputing it. I don't have to pay that portion of my bill (so far). its just the point though, why scam anyone? my own fault for thinking other people are like me. I think I'm officially over ebay/paypal.
