Default UNLOCKING Codes by Cory Scheuer - 03-24-2009, 06:44 AM

Have anyone been able to get any unlocking codes for BB 8900 and or Bold from Cory Scheuer at ccgburning.com.

Submitted payment via Paypal for both phones since Feb 25th to Cory Scheuer, and I am still waiting. I was told 15 days, but since have not been able to get a response to my emails or private messages here.

Any advise would be appreciated. Especially in how I can contact him to get my unlock codes or refund so I can try another Company.

I saw that he made some posts here in the last couple of days. based on this I send him a Private Message and an Email based on the emails listed here and he has not responded either. I am hoping someone can bring it to his attention that am still waiting on the codes. I paid him in good faith and thus I expect the unlock codes for the BB 8900 and the BB Bold or for him to refund my monies if he having problems getting them, or simply courtesy of responding to my emails and update me.

Maybe this thread may give you some hope.

This does not give me too much hope. But I am hoping that my faith in human nature will prevail and I will get either the code or a refund soon.

File a dispute with PayPal since you used them for payment.

Filed two (2) disputes with Paypal for the two separate payments I made for the Unlock codes for the BB8900 and the BB Bold. If codes were made available to him for my phones #'s can I still go ahead and order unlock codes from another source or will there be a conflict/problem?

There could be a problem, but honestly, I don't know for sure.

Straight up, you should contact Steve at HorizonWireless and explain your plight and ask that exact question.

Well well I cannot believe that this Gentleman will not provide me with my Unlock codes or a refund. Have any one seen him around the place or know how to contact him. He not responding to my PM' and Emails. Guess he has my money and is now ignoring me. If U do see him could some one please remind the good gentleman that if he has no intent on sending the codes could he please refund my Money. Appreciate that very much.

Its the 29th March 2009, been waiting since the 24th Feb for Codes or Refund. I have submitted a request for code from Horizon so if anyone speaks to the fine Gentleman could U ask him to refund my money, please.

I am so disappointed. But my faith in the basic honesty and decency of the majority still remains.

Can anyone give me a recourse or any advise on what actions I can take at this point.

Thanks to all that have helped in their responses or by just reading.

New development. Seems He is reading here. Received 2 Emails indicating that he has been trying to reach me and I am not answering his emails. Yet I have answered every one of his emails requesting a refund. He received all emails up until payment was made and he stopped communicating. I respond to the same email address he sends from yet......
Just in case he reads this or the message can be relayed to him by another member.

PLEASE REFUND THE PAYMENT FOR BOTH THE BB BOLD AND THE 8900.

I sent him a PM with a link to this thread, I haven't heard back nor has he posted here yet. Let's hope he clears this issue up.

Best of luck!

Received an email from Cory on April 3rd, indicating that he was "having issues with Paypal" but assured me that I would have my refund by last nite". Its 19:42 on 4th April and have not received and or heard from Cory since.
D
Paypal, today was able to refund me CAD$24 of of the CAD$60 owed to me by Cory from account. I find this sad and really embarrassing for him and wonder why he would allow this to reach this point for that amount of money.

In my case its the principal and initially trusting people and believing that all are inherently good that I now have to question. The fact that he is dishonest and so blatant, with it that irritates me more than anything. Seems not to be interested in resolving this matter but in frustrating me into dropping this issue and keeping my money.

I believe the OP got codes from a reliable source, Horizon Wireless. They're also a sponsor of this forum.

So customers have to come to a forum to get satisfaction?
Because they are a sponsor what does that have to do with anything?

I don't recall saying that they needed to come to a forum to receive satisfaction. Could you please show me where I stated that?

If you would have read the forum, you would have seen this.

I have been waiting on a refund from Horizon since 2nd April.
They provided a code for the BlackBerry 8900 as well and it did not work, and after trying with and without sim card I now only have 8 more attemps to make to get it unlocked.
After receiving a program from them to read my phone info they said they could not provide the codes. Looks like I need to purchase an unlocked Storm.

What that means is that they are reliable and trusted.

I, for one, wouldn't even consider giving someone who has only made 25 posts on this forum any money to provide me any service whatsoever. Furthermore, if you think you are a reliable unlocking service, then you should pay to become a sponsor of this forum.

For the record, WE ALWAYS refund, it takes 2 or 3 days granted, but we always refund when a code is not found

I think all he is saying is that we are a proven respected real business with a real physical address, 2 phone numbers (one toll free) where there is someone always answering the phone, we always answer emails quickly, a website with live support, and are sponsors to the site meaning we wont disappear.

To tie this thread up...

user Cory Scheuer has has several less-than-honorable transactions reported on this forum, with members here either misled or stuck in questionable transactions, very slow or no refunds of their monies paid to Cory Scheuer, and with little or no communication from Cory Scheuer. As of yesterday, he had disabled his Private Messages function here and has not been straightforward with me, either.

As of today, Cory Scheuer has been banned as a member of BlackBerryForums.com. If you have had a transaction with this user, please communicate with him directly via email or whatever means you have at your disposal.
