So to be clear, how much of a refund are you asking for a missing USB cable?

And yes, I read the other thread. He does sound sketchy if he ships to his mama's house.

What is LP?

So basically he got your Bold and $250 for his 8900. It wasn't an even trade. Makes sense now. I was confused by your original post as well.

To finally adress the issue from my point of view what really happened is as follows.

I wanted to trade an 8900 for a bold. I asked for a downpayment because i was afraid of my phone being stolen. When $250 was deposited into my paypal account i left it there waiting for phone to arrive. While phone was on its way i decided to purchase a charging dock and extra battery for it. Being that i the only $$ i had on my paypal account was Dan Karlinski's $250 I decided to try using my debit card. But ebay would not let me make a purchase with my debit card because it was 1) a newly issued card and 2) i had $$ on my paypal balance (which wasnt mine) to avoid spending Dan's money i dumped the money into my savings account so that i wont have a paypal balance therefor ebay allowing me to choose my debit as the only available option. While Dan's money is never being SPENT! I had no idea when sending money to an account it would take 3-5 business days. After i get the phone and confirm that the phone is pretty beat up but in good condition i decide to transfer Dan;s money back from my savings to my paypal account so that it can be available for a refund, but i also HAD NO IDEA this too takes 3-5 business days for payment to clear.

DAN HAS my number, text, email and everything he needs to contact me.

GRANTED! he did contact me about a refund and i explained what i did to avoid spending any of the $$ that was not mine(which is what i said in the above description)

I SWEAR on my deceased daughters grave that after i told him this dan NEVER contacted me through text email or so much as a phone call ever again to ask for a refund.
i am an honest seller with 30+ positive feedbacks on ebay. If he would have just given time for payment to post to my paypal balance i would have gladly refunded the cash. BUT before i could paypal took it left me with a negative balance and placed payment on hold. NOT GIVING ME enough time to correct my misunderstandable mistake he jumped the gun and escalated the dispute to a claim. Paypal then notified me to end all communication with him and let them handle it which is why he didnt hear from me again. After all of this paypal made the decision of me being the winner of the dispute.

HAD YOU CONTACTED ME THROUGH EMAIL TEXT OR EVEN A PHONE CALL BEFORE JUMPING THE GUN AND OPENING A CLAIM I WOULD HAVE REFUNDED THE MONEY!!!

but throwing dirt on my name and passing judgement, and being impatient bit you on the rear end!!

I honestly felt bad and wanted to give it back but you left me with a negative balance, a fee i had 2 pay to paypal, a negative balance fee for having my account on negative for the duration of this "open case" that i tried to get back but to no avail.

So i say next time dont be such an ASSHOLE! calm down and show some respect then youll get what you deserve whether it be good or bad. And fyi i have it shipped to my mom's because i am momentarily staying at a hotel !!

LESSON LEARNED!! BE PATIENT!! DONT GET GREEDY!!

ok, so both buyer and seller have spoken.

Stacks, you should try reading the PayPal terms and conditions. It warns you very clearly that it can take 4-5 business days for cash transfers, as well as when you make the transfer itself.

And watch your junior high language in the forums. It's not welcome.
