Default T-Mobile outage - 06-02-2008, 01:39 PM

I have had some users complain about not getting any emails today. I spoke with a t-mobile rep and they said they have 254 cell towers down in the L.A. region. That sounds like a huge number of towers. Anyone else in so cal having data issues?

I noticed that. Then i called t-mobile and that was when i was told about the 254 towers. sorry to waste y'alls time. I just thought with 254 towers down and no report at dataoutages that it was strange.

Not a waste of time, at all. But in past outages in the LA area, more than one person noticed. Doesn't see that way today, with this.

Sounds like the Nationwide Maintenance Outage is to blame. I hesitate to even mention it, but if you haven't yet done it, try a battery pull. Seemed to cure the problem for at least one other forum user here.

But his "outage" was before the maintenance windows, wasn't it?
His note from yesterday.

The last time I was able to access the internet from my BB was about 11:00AM on Friday June 6th. I've not been able to access it since (still having the same problem as of the typing of this message). I will try the battery pull and see if that does anything.
