Well it's 8:51 EST and I have deleted all account and re added, and resent my service books and I do NOT have HTML email nor do I have the option in the settings menu of the email options. running 4.5.0.52
I think they weren't supposed to activate the change until 2 AM tomorrow morning. Last night was to install the code, tomorrow to activate it.

I would also suggest that you use the app version of the OS when referring to the version of handheld code you're using, just to avoid confusion. There is no app version 4.5.0.52.

I was just on the phone with RIM and the code was deployed but not activated. It will be tonight. And you shouldn't even be able to re-add any free Hotmail accounts until it is (my problem). Paid accounts can be re-added, free ones can't until the new code is activated. At least that's what RIM is saying and it seems right because mine is free and I can't re-add it after deleting it this morning.
I'm just full of questions today so here is another one. Will there be a version of 4.5 for the 8330 or will it stay with the 4.3 family and if so will that 4.3 support HTML email?
no there is a beta version right now of 4.5 for the 8830 and 8330, so that being said, just wait for a while ( a month or two) and 4.5 will be out for the CDMA devices

I knew about the double outage and I just trying to let someone else know who thought it should have been working but nowhere did I see you couldn't register a hotmail account. Maybe you can show me where that was as I must have missed it.

It should be. Did you get a message saying your email had been setup successfully? If not there may be a network issue preventing your from receiving your email
Well, you figured out how to resend service books without your hand being held. You seem pretty smart. Just have someone send an email to you (or send one to yourself unless you're using gmail) and see if it comes in. The upgrade isn't finished yet, though, so html email won't work yet. You may need to do it again tomorrow.
