Default ATT Bis No Change - 06-29-2008, 05:34 AM

I see no change in the ATT BIS site? What would be the reason?

Thanks

Deleted and re-added email account and resent service books. No new options. Or am I just mistaken re: activating HTML. I was under the impression that the options were on the BIS page. ?

Thanks

Yep - HTML works on BIS email accounts. Bear in mind that if you are on BES, it will not work until the BES upgrade - whenever that shall be.

The current version of BES (4.1.5) does not 'officially' support HTML email, and is disabled by default.
With a little SQL manipulation by the BES admin, the feature can be enabled.

Odd, I am getting HTML email for the last few hours on ATT with BES. Also got access to my free hotmail accounts. I doubt our admin did anything special at 5 AM this morning, or maybe they had done it in advance but they are usually very conservative as there are over 7000 BBs on our network. In any event it is working.

Okay - well it currently is not enabled for Exchange My Mail customers. So for those of us who use Exchange My Mail, it is not enabled.

Ahh, I just realized what you are saying. Yes you are right it does not work for my exchange email but does work for my personal emails. I thought you guys were saying it wouldn't work at all until BES was upgraded.

I just love the way life works.
I woke up this morning with the expectation of 4.5, HTML email, the whole bag of santa claus goodies that was supposed to happen today & tonight.
I must have slept through the thunder storm.
It knocked out our cable service, which is where I get my internet through. They say it's gonna be later tonight or tomorrow before it's restored.
At some point in my life, I must have pissed off the blackberry gods.

Peace,

Kamau

O.K., I re-sent service books. Removed e-mails and replaced and then re-sent service books but when I go to messages-menu-options-email settings I don't see the HTML Email choice.

Something I am missing?

Yeah, you're missing OS 4.5 probably.
