Yeah - I've resent service books and switched on HTML but the few emails I've got I just cannot get images to download - just seeing the placeholders for them. Anyone else seeing this ?

Reaches Europe ;)
T-Mobile A html formatting working fine...

@Buzz, I've not tried any images (yet)...
However, you may want to check your settings "Messages > Options > E-mail Settings > Download Images Austomatically > Yes"

Edit :
General FYI (as stated earlier as well) : It is important to re-send your service books. Otherwise, the above options will not be seen.

Yeah got that option set - tried the "Download All Images" from within the message and I get what seems like network activity and the email message goes "unread" when I assume it thinks its completed download but again I just see image placeholders not the images themselves.

I see the placeholders too...

But, then from within the mail try "Menu > Get Images" it will state :
Quote:
Downloading images can expose your address. Continue? [Yes] [No]
I selected "Yes" and sure enough the images appear (slowly). Hope that helps.

You seem to have to do the above only once.... Then all other mails with pics will automatically download the images.

Downloading Attachments is working fine too... ;)

Can anyone else confirm that they are getting images come through on their emails on UK O2 - everything else seems fine.
I'm running 4.5.0.42 OS by the way.

Yes, I get to see images after I selected the option listed above.

This makes reading my order-notifications soo much easier - it works an absolute treat!!

Yes same here too. I can download documents from within mail to my memory card and open them using docs to go.

In mail / options you have to enable the option "enable html mail" before html mail will be displayed.

What's this about hotmail?
