dallas, at&t. i've got good EDGE and am receiving messages, but i cannot send via the handheld. every time i try to send a message, i get an X instead of the usual check, and sending of the message fails. problem started overnight

FOLLOWUP. one of our firm's techs thinks there may be some sort of service book issue. he's checking out the unit and i'll post update later after he has chased down
