Default BIS out in Central Louisiana - 09-05-2008, 09:26 AM

US Army Soldier here, out of Fort Polk, LA (Leesville). Haven't had BIS since last night. Anyone near here also having similiar outages/problems?

We've been monitoring the outage notifications since the hurricane and not one single notice has come through, I know there are people that were hit hard that I've talked to on BBM that said they had connectivity since before and after the hurricane hit.

That is pretty far south LA, betting there is lots of repair work going on.

I get AT&t notices, and this is the latest I've gotten. Leesville isn't specifically mentioned:

dpeters11,
Spoke with AT&T rep today, but he was pretty much clueless. Thanks for the update anyways. Rest assured, I am sure there is a service glitch here in this area; I am not the only one with a BB experiencing this. Been out since about 8pm local here...only get GSM service.
Oh well, thanks for the updates...
