Default AT&T BIS Issues? - 06-11-2009, 11:25 AM

I'm having problems with BIS. First, I wasn't receiving GMail. Second, I wasn't able to log into the BIS site (gave invalid password error). Third, once logged in, I couldn't send service books in my attempt to resolve the first issue (error message said "Unable to send service books"). I haven't received a GMail in thirty minutes now, despite sitting in my inbox.

A trouble ticket would be nice to have so we can send out a notice.

Due to a RIM maintenance email domains Hotmail, Live, Passport, and Sympatico have become invalidated. Re-validating of these e-mails is required. Also due to this the BIS admin site is slow as many people are trying to re-validate these account

Thats the inclusive text in the ticket.

hmmm..I didn't realize that I wasn't getting any emails till I got like 8 or so at once..so I tried to get into BIS to re-send my service bookings thinking maybe the system had a hic-up. If I had known that the revalidation of certain email domains was going on, I had done that at that time when I was able to get in. Now, I am getting the previously stated error messages...Crazy!

looks outdated to have hotmail or the othe fancy email domains why not get an email domain without requiring those chaotic revalidation effort. I still don't understand why it would bring my other email address deliveries down...all unrelated to MS..hmmm

I just spoke with my representative with RIM as well and he has confirmed that BIS is goofed globally.

RIM is starting to come back up with limited issues for customers with hotmail and live email accounts.
