Seattle, WA, has had data outage since Friday morning (3rd July)
Called Business Enterprise support and they said there was a data outage and it would be back up 2:45am Saturday (after asking what 'the time was where you are' -- meaning they haven't trained the phone ops in India how to calculate time zones).
That time has come and gone, still no data in WA. No announcement on their sites or forums either.
I have called back half a dozen times and found out they close my ticket as 'resolved' even though the data isn't back up yet. Maybe their ops get commission for closing tickets.
Now they said voice is down in parts of WA, but that's working fine. They called Advanced Network Services while I was on hold, and I got the response in broken english. They refused to put my call through to them as I could explain and understand the situation better.
AT&T don't seem to be very good at reporting the true status of outages. Many other telecomms and cable companys display status in real time on their websites. Hiding outages from paying customers is a bit lame.
