Default BIS down on ORange UK - 09-10-2009, 08:38 AM

Talked to a guy on Orange customer support and he said the BlackBerry servers were down UK-wide (not sure if he meant just for Orange, which makes little sense or all mobile providers).

Basically I have gprs/edge/uma (i.e. all in lower-case letters). Couldn't send a PIN message over edge, but could over uma... I guess the BB uses the wi-fi directly.

Things like ubertwitter work over uma, but not over edge (which I guess would be expected).

Orange UK data services are down for a number of users, this is GPRS and broadband data.
