Exclamation Possible Outage??

Please Login to Remove!

Is anyone else in the Waterloo region experiencing BB email service down? I have not been able to send or receive mail since apx 8:30 pm this evening, October 2nd 2009.

Supposedly, carriers are upgrading to BIS 2.8 this weekend. This might be the reason.

Service has returned.
Last night there was an ongoing issue with
carrier service for some Rogers (GPRS/EDGE) subscribers in the Americas.
BlackBerry subscribers on the Rogers 2G / EDGE network only were unable to send or receive messages or use Internet browsing. This issue is only affected users in the Waterloo and Brantford areas.

I received an e-mail from friend at another firm that Rogers is having ongoing 3g issues today and to put Bold on 2g only.
I was having real problems this morning sending and receiving on 3g even thought signal strength was good.
