Default Why RIM Outages affect BES users?

Please Login to Remove!

If your running your own BES why do RIM outages affect you? Maybe I am misunderstanding how it works, do all the emails go through a RIM server before they get to my device?

All traffic goes through RIM's noc.

So yes, all email routes through RIM.

And to answer your question, yes, ALL BlackBerry email goes thru a RIM server.
