The Rogers Enterprise Service Centre has been advised of the following planned maintenance activity

Notification Type: Unplanned (New)
Service Affected: Blackberry PIN-to-PIN messages
Area Affected: National

Date: Monday, February 22, 2010
Start Time: 11:15 AM (EST)
End Date: TBD
End Time: TBD
Estimated Outage Length: TBD

Work Summary: BlackBerry subscribers may intermittently experience delays in sending and receiving PIN messages and may receive an "x" when sending PIN messages. RIM is currently investigating and this message will be updated when more information becomes available.

BBM on Sprint to my buddy on AT&T was slow this morning. I haven't BBM'd since then, but I noticed that delivery took up to several minutes, and I got the "d" confirm out of order on various postings. "Something scwewy is going on awound heeah".

I've not received a 2nd notification from Rogers since that first one. The PIN log on my BES in Canada is growing in size so I know there are end users who are able to PIN ok.
