Verizon outage 3 March 2010
 

Last night it was fine. Today I can make calls, but no internet. The properties say service available, but not connected.

Nationwide according to VZW. ETA ASAFP. They are getting slammed with calls.

Out in Huntsville, AL as well. Frustrating.

ATL appears to be out too.

From Verizon Wireless:

Verizon Wireless is experiencing a nationwide data outage. Users may experience issues with receiving e-mail and other wireless functions on their Blackberry. At this time there is no estimated time for the repair of this problem.

It appears to be back up in ATL.

Central Ohio was down, but not all handsets were affected. I noticed at 6:15am, and it was restored by 8:15am

Turn the network services off and on. See what happns.

Still no data (1xev) on my 8830 in Central Ohio. Already tried toggling the mobile network of and on, cycling the power, and *228. It seems to have gone down at aroung 0300 Eastern.

Yep, that icon's been seeing a lot of action this morning. I've still got nothin'... no data, no email, pin traffic, BBM. I'm starting to get the jitters now. Thank god for coffee :)

@Box15Safety, I was in Dublin and had 1xev, then drove to Delaware and I had full 1XEV, but now I'm back on 1X. (Tour) A couple guys here have 1XEV on 8830's.

My Verizon reps are saying it's coming back up but there are still issues.

Orlando seems to be back online.

Same here in Northeast Ohio. Service restored around 8:30am.

Still nothing in Huntsville.

Been down since about 8am this morning here in Cincinati, OH. I just turned off my network connection and turned it back on and it seems to be working again now.

When I arrived in Nashville at 8am Central, it was up there. When it was down, I could make calls and send SMS. But no email, MMS or internet. Thanks to all that responded.
