Rogers Outage - 5/4/2010
Anyone else having issue with BES on Rogers this morning.
I am in Edmonton, Alberta and most of our users appear to have data (i.e. web browsing) but no email, calendar sync etc. This started around 7:00am this morning and our BES lists that as most of the users last contact time, with a few users having contact time as late as 8:40am.
We've been making some changes to our Exchange server so I'm trying to figure out if this is a Rogers/RIM issue or something we did.
The same for us in Calgary as well.. I've been on EDGE the whole day because there is no 3G anywhere.
Although my friends at Bell and Telus have had no problems today.. blah.
Yes, there has been an outage since 10:45am Eastern today.
The Rogers Enterprise Service Centre has been advised of the following unplanned maintenance activity

Work Summary: Customers are unable to use GSM/GPRS/UMTS/HSPA
services in the Calgary area due to severe weather. The outages though
are completely scattered, as well some sites are recovering while others
are still being affected.
Additional Comments/Update: Issue is still ongoing.
This issue was resolved as of 9:30pm Eastern last night (Tuesday).
