BB Nation-wide Outage 1 OCT 2011
 
Verizon says there is a general system wide data outage throughout the US since about 1000 ET this morning yet there is almost no discussion on any of the boards about it. Is anyone else experiencing this

AT&T working fine in NH. Was this Verizon only?

What's supposed to be out? My BlackBerry is working fine as far as I can tell. Data flowing, calls working, etc. I am having some difficulty with the Verizon Wireless website, but for the most part it too is working fine.

I have no data connection through Verizon at all (right now in the Southeast US). Verizon said RIM Data was out nationwide and there is a master work ticket on it, problem and resolution time unknown.

Verizon successfully got you off the phone.
No nationwide outages reported here or on other sites...

There were widespread outages reported this morning around 6 - 9 am Eastern Time on Verizon. Seems to be working now, however, for those reporting earlier.

I have been unable to access App World since this morning on Verizon Wireless. Other services appear to be working correctly.

Spoke to VZW support this morning... "Known issue being worked with BlackBerry®" [sic, RIM]. No timeframe to resolve -- apparently, different users losing different services, and others fully functional.

App World finally accessible for me as of about 15:30 EDT. Hopefully, this means it is resolved for all affected.
